China- Soon to be largest Economy?

Since the handover of Hong Kong back to China in 1997 the world has been immersed in the power of free enterprise.China prior to having control of Hong Kong was for lack of a better term “Typical communist”. It almost appears as though Hong Kong was infected with a virus and the virus was capitalism. Like many viruses it spread- and fast. Now China has surpassed Japan as the 2nd largest economy and poised to take over the US in the next decade….

Looking back. Substitute China for Japan this article could have been written in 1974. The possibility of China passing the US is great, however if history is correct. All bubbles will burst.
