Trader and Analyst

John originally hails from Virginia but moved to Colorado to enjoy everything the state offers. When he’s not working, you can find him on the ski slopes in the winter or the golf course in the summer. He also enjoys playing basketball and camping. John is saving for a house of his own with a large backyard for grilling and lots of space for his future dog to run around. He is also always saving for upgrades to his truck camper, or as he calls it, his mobile ski lodge. John supports his community by volunteering for Habitat for Humanity and the Veteran’s Association, and is currently on the lookout for a local cause to support.

John is our Trader and Portfolio Analyst, working with the investment committee to optimize our investment portfolios and then implementing them for our clients. He absolutely loves navigating the intricacies of such a vast industry. “During a bull market anyone can be a hero, but when uncertainty and down markets occur, which they inevitably do, putting together strategies to protect and enrich clients’ portfolios is very rewarding.” John is happy to be a part of the Gill Capital Partners team and says, “Everyone at Gill is passionate about their work, and it truly shows.
